That's What Friends Are For!!!

I am so excited! My friend Amy created this for me for her give-a- away. I have seen the different pictures like this at deseret book. I have been wanting to get them, but I think this is even better. I am going to get this picture blown up, so I can put it in my house. Just thought I would share my excitement!

Jaylee is 6 months old!!!

Jaylee is 6 months old today! I just can't figure out why 6 months of pregnancy seems like forever and now the last 6 months has flown by! Anyway Jaylee is such a sweet little addition to our family. She has developed some serious attitude lately. She has to have everything her way and if she doesn't get it, she is sure to let everyone know that she is MAD!!! She does crack me up all the time though.

She thinks that she is a BIG girl. She likes to be in control of the remote and cell phone. When Brock is playing with his friends she thinks she should be doing what they are doing. For instance, the other day Brock and his friend Austin were playing the Wii and Jaylee had to sit right in between them on the floor and look up at the screen with them. Brock is really good about playing with her and making her laugh. Every time Brock walks into the room she gets excited and smiles at him. She loves to smile!

When anyone eats around her she thinks she needs to eat too! Jason introduced Jaylee to Pepsi and she thinks that she needs it anytime we take a drink. She is a little oinker when she eats. She will always it a full jar of baby food and sometime two. Then shortly after she will think that she needs to nurse as well. Oh, well at least I know that she is healthy!

We are so glad that she is a part of our family! She is a little sweet heart that makes us smile everyday!

Not enough time!

I just feel like there is never enough time in a day for me to get things done! Our family has been busy the last few weeks. We are all still trying to adjust to a schedule since school is back in session. I really like the 4 days a week, but I dread every other Friday when I have to go to school for 4 hours of collaboration. On the other hand I love the 3 day weekends. Last weekend we had 4 days for Labor day. We had planned on leaving to go camping with some friends and their family , but it was post-poned a day due to my sister Stephanie going into labor. I wanted to be there, because I have never witnesses someone giving birth. It was a great experience and the end results were the best. I now have a sweet little niece, Savannah Lynn. She was born on 9-4-09 weighing in at a whopping 5 lbs 7 oz. and she was 18 inches long. She in so tiny compared to my monster children. Jaylee looks like giant baby compared to her! She is such a good baby.

After Savannah was born we still went camping! We all had a great time. Jason gave in and bought Brock a BB gun. He did pretty good with it! On the first time he hit the can that they had set up. On the other hand I was a little worried about the whole thing and hoping that he didn't shoot any of the others kids' eyes out! This was Jaylee's first camping trip and she loved it. She especially loved looking at the fire! I was impressed on how well I did with not having a bathroom. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be! It was nice to get away from society and just relax and not worry about anything.

Brock is doing much better with school! He came home last week and asked if I knew one of the girls in is class named McKayla. I told him that I didn't know her and asked him why. He proceeded to tell me that she gave him her phone number so that she could come over and play the Wii. Then the following day he handed be an index card with a phone number on it and told me it was MaKayla's number. I was like great my kid is in the first grade and he is already getting girl's digits!

Jaylee got an ear infection this last week and hasn't been herself since! Poor little girl is usually so happy and this week she has had a hard time sleeping and eating! Other than that she is getting so big! She always has to grab onto things and she tries to talk all the time.

So that is what has been going on in the Jorgensen home lately! Hopefully I will be better about posting!

Back to school!!!

Another school year is starting for our family! Brock started 1st grade on Monday! It was a rough day! Jason picked him up and he was crying, so he brought him to my classroom. Poor little guy he had huge blisters on the palms of his hands from the monkey bars, he was starving because he was to scared to eat his lunch, and he didn't like going all day! Thank goodness it has been better the last couple of days. I am so sad to be back at school. I miss my little girl! We started to go 4 days a week instead of 5, but the teachers have to go every other Friday for collaboration! So far it isn't too bad!
Jaylee turned five months old on Sunday! She is getting way too big way too fast! On the second day of school she rolled from her back to her tummy several times for Jason. She has been rolling from her tummy to her back for awhile now. She loves her baby food. She can't seem to get enough of it. I know that she would eat the food we eat if she could. Every time I am eating she thinks that she needs to eat it too! She starts smacking her lips and sticks her tongue out! I took a few pictures of her on Sunday! Her hair is starting to go bald where she rubs on it. She has a crazy "do". Other news is that Jason was put in as second counselor in the elders quorum. I don't know if he was too excited about it at first, but he is in there with some fun guys. I think he will like it! He is just complaining about going to a lot of meetings and not being able to ditch out on priesthood to go home and watch football. I told him God works in mysterious ways! I think it will be good for him.
Anyway enough blabbing for now I have a lot of things to get done before bunco tomorrow at my house!

Summertime swimming

We have had a fun last month full of swimming! It started at Lagoon after we went to the temple. Jaylee pretty much hates the water, so she just slept. Jason and I took turns watching her and going down the slides! Then Brock started swimming lessons, but I don't have any pictures of those yet! We will be starting our fourth week of swimming lessons. Then one day Brock and Jaione (my cousin) decided to drag the pools out of the garage and filled them up!

We invited a few friends over to play in the water! Jason and Iattempted to have Jaylee try out the water again, this time it was warm and she still hated it! I just thought it would be cute to put her in her bikini to check out her fat rolls! So after the sad looks and crying Jaylee and
I hung out on a blanket and she took a nap!
Last, but not least we have been in Alamo for the weekend and I took a few pictures of the kids playing at grandma and grandpa Jorgensen's pool. They had a great time dunking, splashing, and playing together. I love summertime and I am so sad that it soon will all end. :(

Kenny Chesney Concert!

I went to the Kenny Chesney concert last Thursday night in Salt Lake! I had so much fun! I took my friend Ashlee with me, because Jason and my sister Melanie didn't want to go with me. We didn't have the greatest seats but they were cheap! The concert started at 5:30, so we showed up at 5:00. It was so HOT!!!!! It was 106 degrees and our seats were out in the open where the sun could beat down on us. I was sweating so bad. Anyway Sugarland was suppose to be there, but they didn't come because she has some throat problem. I did get to hear Lady Antebellum and Miranda Lambert. They were both so good! Kenny Chesney was amazing. He sang for 2 hours! Here are a few pictures!

An Eternal Family

Not this last weekend, but the weekend before Jason and I went to the temple to be sealed together as an eternal family. We left on Thursday afternoon and drove to Salt Lake we ended getting there like at 11:30p.m. We stayed at my cousin Amy's house. On Friday morning I went to the distribution center to get my temple clothes. Then we went to lunch and on to the cosmetology school that my sister goes to. She cut and colored my hair, and she cut Brock and Jason's hair. Then we met up with Jeremy and Andrea at the Gateway mall for dinner around 6pm and then we went bowling. I totally sucked it up! Brock beat us all except Jeremy. Then we met up with my family at the Outback for dessert while they ate dinner.
On Saturday morning we got up to go to the Bountiful Temple. I had my endowment session at 10am and then our sealing was at 12:15pm. It was such a great experience! I am so happy to know that my children are now sealed to Jason and I! The only part that bummed me out was that I wanted a lot more pictures than we got, because there were like 7 other weddings going on. It was insane! Oh well, I haven't gotten my pictures yet, but when I do I will post them!
After the temple we all went down to Chuck A Rama to eat (not my number 1 choice) with our friends and family.
Also on our trip we went to Lagoon! We had such a good time. Jaylee was a little trooper in the heat. She went around the Lazy river with Jason and didn't really like it when she got splashed. So her and I hung out in the shade and she ate and took a nap! Jason did come and relieve me, so that I could go down a few slides. He is a great dad! The funniest part of the whole day was when Jason went to take Jaylee on the train ride. He called my sister Melanie and asked where we were. She told him that we were waiting for them to go by to wave at them. He then proceeded to tell her that Jaylee had pooped all over the front of his shirt. We were all laughing! As they drove by he was holding her out away from him. He said that everyone on the train were saying that he was such a good dad because he was letting her see all the animals, little did they know that he was holding her out so that she wouldn't get anymore poop on him. It was quite an entertaining experience! We had a great little trip, but we were so glad to be back home!
