She's Here!

Jaylee Ann Jorgensen
I am a big slacker! This is the first time I have got on the computer since I had Jaylee! So here is the lovely birth story! I went to work on Monday and around 9:30am my back started to hurt. As time went on it continued to get worse. I figured that I was starting back labor, because that is what I had with Brock. At lunch I started to feel a lot of pressure. I figured that I could wait to go to the doctor until my appointment, which was scheduled for 3:45pm. Not too long after lunch the doctor's office called and asked if I could come in early. I was more than ok with that. So a little before 2:00pm I walked around the inside of the school hoping that I would be dilated enough when I got there for them to admit me. I then went home to get Jason and we left around 2:15pm. Once we hit the freeway I started to have contractions that were 3 minutes apart and then they went down to 2 minutes apart. During this Jason decided that he was only going to drive 75 mph, which if any of you have road with him this is very unusual. I asked him to speed up, so most of the way we went 80 mph. It was the longest 50 miles I have ever rode in a car.
Before we got to Winnemucca I called the doctor's office to see if I should go to the office or just go to the hospital. I was told just to go to the doctor's office. I got there and asked if i could use the bathroom, because I felt like I was leaky fluid. Instead it was blood! They then put me in a room to wait for the doctor. I waited like 40 minutes before the doctor came in. When he got there I was dilated to a 5 and 100% effaced. He told them to get me up to the hospital! Once I got up to the hospital I was there a little over an hour before I delivered our sweet baby girl! I do have to mention that I was so mean to Jason and he said that watching the delivery was the nastiest thing he has ever seen! So, anyway from the time the contractions started to when I delivered was about 3 hours!
Sorry for all the details, but I wanted all the info to put in my journal. Now to the good part. Now introducing Jaylee Ann Jorgensen!

ROCK STAR

Today was Rock Star Hair Day at Brock's school. He was so excited! This is part of their reading month theme at school this month. So after I got ready for school this morning I got Brock up to do his hair before I left.

First Brock decide that he wanted a mohawk. Well this was kind of hard, because I made him get his hair cut last week against his wishes. I am such a mean mom!

Then he decided that we needed to put a yellow star on one side of his head. We used colored gel to make the star!

Then I decided that we should put a green lighting bolt on the other side. It turned out alright. Brock was excited about the way it looked, so I guess I did my job!

Not a lot!

Well not too much has been going on! I went to the doctor on Tuesday, well actually to see the nurse. It was kind of a wasted trip. The only good thing about it was that I lost a pound! I was excited. My doctor will be back Sunday night, so I can't wait for that. I have another appointment on Monday, so we will see what happens.
The weather has been so nice the last two days! I know it won't last, because it said that there is a chance of snow on Sunday! Yuck! I just want it to be spring weather! I want to go on a walk so bad, but knowing my luck I would go into labor. Instead I think that I will take Brock to the park today after school. I might as well take advantage of the nice weather before it goes away.
Anyway like I said, not too much is going on with the Jorgensen's right now!

Pampering myself!

I am so glad that it is Friday! I am hoping to get odds and end things done this weekend before the baby comes. There are a few things I need to finish on her room and then I will post some pictures. Brock's room has been neglected, so I am going to finally hang up some things on his walls. I also want to get a couple of crafts done and maybe I can find some time to scrapbook. I am so far behind!
I went to the doctor on Wednesday! I am not dilated at all, but he did say that my cervix is very thin. He is out of the office starting today, so I have to wait to have the baby when he returns on the 23rd. Hopefully she will cooperate! I have not heard very many good things about the other doctor that is covering for him. In fact my nurse told me that she would not let him touch her with a ten foot pole. That's real reassuring! I told Jason that we just might have to go to Elko if I go in labor before my doctor comes back! I know that I really can't control this matter, but hopefully it will all work out.
So today I am pampering myself! Well actually it started yesterday. I had a pedicure! It felt so good. Today I am getting a massage and then my hair done. I think that I deserve to be pampered before the baby comes! I have been getting prenatal massages for the last three weeks. I love them! They have been helping the pain that I have been having with my sciatic nerve. So anyway enough about spoiling myself. I will post again after I go to the doctor, well actually the nurse next week!

Misc....

I haven't taken the time to post my winners! They are my two SIL Tonia and Ang and my MIL Annette. Thank goodness they take the time to read my blog! LOL! I haven't figured out what they are getting yet, but I will post it after they have received their homemade gifts!

I am so excited about this blog that one of my friends showed me! This girl makes little petti skirts for girls. I ordered two of them. You can view my finished skirts at http://prettypetti.blogspot.com/. They are so adorable! She is mailing them today and I can't wait to get them.

Not too much else is going on! We are on the count down for our little girl to arrive. We are really excited that we have a new nephew! I have a doctor's appointment on Wednesday, so we will see what is going on. When I went last week the doctor said that her head is in position. I have definitely felt the pressure that she is putting on me. I was sad to find out that my doctor is going to be gone from the 13th to the 23rd. Nice timing! I don't want another doctor delivering my baby! So, we will see what happens!

Pay it Forward!

I just read about this on one of my friend's blogs. I thought that it would be fun to try it out!
Here are the rules to Pay It Forward!

1. Be one of the first THREE bloggers to leave a comment on this post, which then entitles you to a handmade item from me.

2. Winners must post this challenge on their own blog, meaning that you will pay it forward, creating a handmade gift -anything!- for the first THREE bloggers who leave a comment on YOUR post about this giveaway!

3. The gift that you send to your 3 friends can be from any price range and you have 365 days to make/ship your item. This means you should be willing to maintain your blog at least until you receive your gift and have shipped your gifts. And, remember it’s the spirit and the thought that count!

4. When you receive your gift, blog about it! If you are not one of the first three to comment on this post, you can still play along. Go ahead and start your own Pay It Forward chain, and encourage your blogging friends to do the same! It's all about paying it forward.
