Update!

Once again this poor blog has been neglected!
A lot has been going on this year.

Brock had his Basque dance winter fest performance in January.
He seems to get better each time.
We have had some issues with him at school! He is getting too bored and then starts to disrupt others.
I called a meeting between the principal, teacher, and myself. I have had an issue with this since the beginning of school and I wanted to sit down and figure out how Brock could be more challenged, so he wasn't getting in trouble. There were several incidents that led up to the meeting, but I will spare you the details. So the plan seemed to be working until last week and Brock got in trouble again! Came to find out he ran out of challenging things to do, so he got in trouble. I am so frustrated and I can't wait for this school year to be over. On a positive note we signed him up for baseball and that should start the beginning of April.

Jaylee Bug is a TORNADO!
She is a little spit fire that I can't seem to keep up with.
She has a sassy little personality and is starting the terrible 2's!
Her vocabulary has expanded so much over the last couple of months.
The other day Jason said something was awesome and she has proceeded to walk around and say
AWESOME but kind of sings it with a break between the awe and the some.
I can't keep anything clean with her around, because she goes right behind me and makes 10 more messes!
Yesterday before church I had her in a cute St. Patrick's Day skirt and shirt and she got into a bottle of paint.
It was all over her hands the shirt and a little on the skirt. I was already running late, so this made it even worse. She is so stinkin' cute that I can't seem to stay mad at her too long! I always find myself scooping her up and giving her tons of kisses.

I am so thankful for both of my kids and their sweet spirits and personalities that they bring to our family.
I haven't wrote too much on this pregnancy, but I am so thankful for this sweet little boy that will be joining our family soon. My pregnancy has been pretty good. I haven't really been sick from the pregnancy, but I am going on my 6th week with a nasty head, sinus thing. I have also started to get light headed and some braxton hicks. I have so much to get done before the baby is born and I am running out of energy fast. Hopefully it will all pull together. Other than that things are going good.

Here are some pictures of the kiddos!

The end of 2010!

One of my goals this year is to be a better blogger with my family blog.
First of all I need to some up the end of 2010.

I am going to start with Brock's Baptism!
I am a complete slacker and forgot the camera, so the only
pictures I have are the ones I took for the invitations.
We had a great day. Of course you can't come to the baptism without
a good laugh. I am not sure if I should blame this on my pregnancy or just that I am a blonde.
I will go with my pregnancy. Anyway after Brock was baptized I was like, "Crap I forgot the towels!"
What a dork! So Scott had to run and get the towels. In the mean time Jason forgot his underwear and his brother and dad ran to get that. Needless to say it was a longer baptism then it should have been.
Brock had asked his uncles to talk at his Baptism. Uncle Scott and uncle Jeremy gave great talks to help Brock out on his new journey in life. Jeremy used a baseball analogy that was perfect for Brock as he talked about the steps you need to take in like to reach each base and then to return to our Father in Heaven.
I appreciated all the family that took time out of their busy lives to share this special day with Brock.
I can't believe he is already this old.

Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving at home this year!
Well actually we spent it at my parents house.
Again I forgot my camera, so I have no pictures to show for it.
I am sure my mom has some that I can add onto her later.
Nothing too exciting happened we just spent the day cooking, eating, and playing card games.

Mike and Tonia's Sealing
Our next big event was our trip to Alamo and St. George for Jason's brother Mike and his wife Tonia's sealing. I was able to take a couple of days off before Christmas break in order to make it to the temple to watch this cute family be sealed together forever.

What a great experience it was to watch from another perspective.
The last time I was at a sealing was for my family.
I can't explain the joy and happiness that felt my heart and
I watched their sweet little children walk into the room.
They were all so sweet and looked like little angels.
I am so happy that I was able to be apart of this family's special day!

I was also able to see my aunt Jodi and her daughter Jill while we were in St. George!
Jodi was so good to watch my children for me so I could attend the temple.
My kids loved hanging out with her. They didn't want to leave.
She bought them play dough and Jaylee thought it was the coolest thing ever,
because that stuff isn't allowed in my house.
We ate dinner with all of Jason's family that was able to attend and Jodi came along with us
to the Texas Roadhouse. Again Jodi was a hit as both of my kids thought they had to be all over her
during dinner.

We then left and headed to Alamo to spend a few days with Jason's family since we wouldn't be able to make it back after Christmas.  I love how laid back in is there. I seriously didn't get dressed before noon each day except the last day. I was able to get glitter toes done. I love them and they still look fabulous. All the cousins hung out and of course I had to throw a craft in there.
I asked my FIL, Gary to cut us out these cute snowmen that
I saw at a girl's house in Alamo. Thanks Jenna for your pattern!
They turned out so cute!

I also was able to make my MIL, Annette and my mom a picture of the temple.
They were like the big one's from Desert Book.
I love how they turned out and I also ordered myself one.
I will post some pictures when I get some taken.

Christmas!
We were home for Christmas. Jason and I stayed up a little too late the night before.
I got to bed at 3:30am and Jason I think was somewhere around 4ish.
Brock is the best kid! I can't believe how much patience he has on Christmas morning.
He wanted Jaylee to sleep with him, so after she finally fell asleep around 1:00am I put her in bed with Brock. Christmas morning her brought her into my bed around 7:00 am and he went out to the living room to watch t.v. until I told him at 7:45 that he could call his aunts, uncle, and grandparents to come over to watch them open gifts. This was the chaotic mess!

Aunt Mel taught Jaylee how to put on an oven mitt to get her food out of the oven!

Sorry that this was such a long post, but it is more for my sake of writing it down!

Brock's 8th birthday!

Brock's 8th birthday was over a month ago!
It is crazy to think that my little boy is already 8 years old.

Every year I have gone all out on having Brock a birthday party, but this year I told him we were only going to have a family party. Brock was a pretty good sport about this, so I told him he could have a few friends go to Elko with us to his football game and then go to his favorite park and play. When the time came for the game and the park I came down with the nasty flu bug. Thank goodness for aunt Stephie for taking Brock to his game and letting him go to the park.
For Brock's actual birthday we had a family dinner and of course cake, ice cream , and presents!

We all had a great time celebrating Brock's birthday!

Way over due!

I am way over due for an update on our family blog!
A lot has happened in the month of August and September. At the beginning of August I was put in as the Young Women's President. I know a little scary and over whelming. Brock and I started school back up. Brock is in the 2nd grade this year. I can't believe that my baby is growing up. He is doing great in school.

Brock has also been playing flag football. He loves it! I hate that I have to drive to Elko every Saturday to watch the games, but I guess that is all part of living in a small town and being supportive of your child.

Brock also started piano lessons a few weeks ago and is seeming to like it so far.
I got a phone call from Jason a little over 3 weeks ago at 2:00am! I was a little annoyed and asked what was wrong. He proceeded to tell me very calmly that he had rolled his ankle and it was so big that they made him come to the emergency room. I was like are you kidding me! I called my mom and woke her up to come and sit with my kids while I went to the hospital. Jason talked the doctor out of making him stay home from work and writing him a prescription, so that no one lost their bonus.
Jaylee is developing the cutest little personality. Jason tells her that she is a MEAN girl just like her momma. She sure know how to throw a fit. She is into everything and can make 20 messes in 5 minutes. She is also a girlie girl. She love her shoes, jewelry, and anything she can use as a purse. She even brought polish to her dad to paint her nails one day! She sure keeps us on our toes!

The latest news is that I am expecting baby #3! I am 11 weeks along and am due May 1st. I am excited to have another baby, but not to be pregnant.
Other than that it is go go go! I will try to be better about updating on this blog more!

Camping trip!

Our next big event in July was a camping trip with Jason's family!
We left Battle Mountain at 5:30pm on Friday, July 16. We went as far as Richfield, Utah. We arrived at 1:30am and found a motel to stay the night in. We got up the next morning and went to Jorgensen's Honda to look at toy haulers and prowlers. Well we didn't just LOOK, we ended up with both. I was sick to my stomach as Jason decide to spend 45,000 dollars to go camping. I am not the biggest fan of camping, so I was thinking this was ridiculous. I did get a beach cruiser bike out of the deal, but still I wasn't feeling to good. I was being a supportive wife and I did love staying in the camper. We had to wait 5 hours for the trailer and side by side to be ready. We headed over to grandma Jorgensen's for a visit while we waited. I was so annoyed and just wanted to get to the camp site. We finally got our new house on wheels and side by side and headed to Wal Mart. We got our groceries and necessities to go camping. We then got gas  up and headed towards Elk Horn.
It took us a little over 2 hours to get to the camp site. I was so relieved to have made it. Jason was nervous pulling the trailer. We camped until Wednesday. We had a fun time riding on the side by side and hanging out with the family.
I was a little bit crazy as I followed Jaylee around with a bag of wipes the whole time. I just can't handle her being so dirty and then trying to put something in her mouth with dirty hands. I think I was a little over board, but oh well! Everyone laughed every time I walked up with my bag of wipes. We had lots of yummy food and we played games. It rained every afternoon, so that kind of sucked! Jason is the favorite uncle, so we had most of the nephews and nieces staying with us. It was crazy, but the kids had fun.
The night before we were ready to go home we played cards in our trailer and I laughed so hard at Jason's dad, Gary. Ang, Jason, and I cracked up everytime it was his turn. He would say the funniest things when he would pick the wrong card. It was great entertainment.
We took of Wednesday morning at 10:00 am and made it home that night at 10:00pm. It was the longest drive home. I did make Jason stop in Salt Lake, so that I could get so projects from the Wood Connection. He was a nervous wreck driving through the traffic on the freeway! I am surprised that we all made it home alive. I am not talking about Jason's driving, but how well we don't get along on road trips. It wasn't really too bad, but I was so glad to be back at home and in my own bed!

4th of July!

I thought that once school was out, I would have more time to blog! I don't know what my deal is but I have been on a blogging slump! I have several events to post about, so hopefully I can get caught up. I don't want to write about everything in one post, so I will post about each event separate.

I am going to start with the 4th of July. The night before we had the parade. My dad and mom took the kids in the golf cart to ride in the parade. My dad is running for county commissioner, so they decorated the golf cart and threw lots of candy.

The next morning was church. I was so bummed that all the activities were on Sunday. I spent the day at the park at my friend's booth. I had some car seat covers for sale.

That night we stuck with tradition and went to Mama's to watch the fireworks. It was crazy how many people showed up. I think we counted over 70. As always it was a great time.

A week of Chaos!

We have had a crazy week! I was able to go to the temple last Saturday to do my great grandmother's work! It was such a wonderful day and I had such a good time! My dad and I also took the kids to see Toy Story 3 in 3D! Jaylee wasn't the best, but it worked out and everyone enjoyed the show! Jason wasn't able to go with us, because he had to work! I was a little embarrassed walking around Salt Lake with my too big black eyes which cane from the big bump on my forehead! Oh well what do you do?
The kids started swimming lessons this week! Jaylee and I are doing a mom and me class! She is a little fish and loves the water. Brock is doing very well too! I forgot my camera when it was Brock's turn, but I did get some pictures of Jaylee. My sister Steph and her daughter Savannah are taking the class with Jaylee and I, so I had to include a picture of little miss Dora as well!

The other pictures of Jaylee were taken the other day as she ate her own mini box of cheese sticks! She love them, well actually she loves all food. She also loves being outside and I have to fight with her to come in the house.
Today we had gravel delivered to our house for our driveway! We had 5 loads dropped off for a total of 12 yards. Jason and I knocked three of them out before we had to go to our softball game. Well mostly Jason did the work. I helped a little and talked a lot, imagine that huh? Here is a picture of Brock and Jaylee on one of the piles!

I am bummed that the other two piles are going to have to wait for awhile, because Jason pulled him hamstring at our game tonight! Poor guy! Our team name is the BM Bashers and we decided it needs to be the BM Bruisers! We still won though, so that is a plus! Oh yeah one more thing, Jason and I went over to Elko yesterday without any kids! It was our date day and Jason bought me a new patio set! I am so excited! Now if only all the mosquitoes would leave town that would be great!
