Jaylee Ann Jorgensen
I am a big slacker! This is the first time I have got on the computer since I had Jaylee! So here is the lovely birth story! I went to work on Monday and around 9:30am my back started to hurt. As time went on it continued to get worse. I figured that I was starting back labor, because that is what I had with Brock. At lunch I started to feel a lot of pressure. I figured that I could wait to go to the doctor until my appointment, which was scheduled for 3:45pm. Not too long after lunch the doctor's office called and asked if I could come in early. I was more than ok with that. So a little before 2:00pm I walked around the inside of the school hoping that I would be dilated enough when I got there for them to admit me. I then went home to get Jason and we left around 2:15pm. Once we hit the freeway I started to have contractions that were 3 minutes apart and then they went down to 2 minutes apart. During this Jason decided that he was only going to drive 75 mph, which if any of you have road with him this is very unusual. I asked him to speed up, so most of the way we went 80 mph. It was the longest 50 miles I have ever rode in a car. Before we got to Winnemucca I called the doctor's office to see if I should go to the office or just go to the hospital. I was told just to go to the doctor's office. I got there and asked if i could use the bathroom, because I felt like I was leaky fluid. Instead it was blood! They then put me in a room to wait for the doctor. I waited like 40 minutes before the doctor came in. When he got there I was dilated to a 5 and 100% effaced. He told them to get me up to the hospital! Once I got up to the hospital I was there a little over an hour before I delivered our sweet baby girl! I do have to mention that I was so mean to Jason and he said that watching the delivery was the nastiest thing he has ever seen! So, anyway from the time the contractions started to when I delivered was about 3 hours!
Sorry for all the details, but I wanted all the info to put in my journal. Now to the good part. Now introducing Jaylee Ann Jorgensen!
