Our 1st Anniversary

This last weekend was our 1st anniversary! I can't believe we made it! jk Jason volunteered to go with the youth on a temple trip to Reno on Saturday. I figures that since it was our anniversary that Jaylee and I would go as well. Our plans were to stay the night. So we got off to a late start on Saturday. Go figure, no matter how much I prepare for a trip in advance we always seem to run later than planned. Anyway we made it to Reno just in time for Jason to run into the temple to help with the baptisms. I wasn't going to wait around for 2 hours, so I took off to Kohl's. I found Jaylee the cutest dresses! They were having a great sale, so I couldn't resist. My brother always tells me that I am going broke saving money. He just might have a point. After finishing up with Kohl's I went and got a Keva Juice. I love their drinks, but I can't believe how expensive it is to get a smoothie these days. Oh well I enjoyed every bit of it. I then went and picked Jason back up and we went to Chili's with a family that we are friends with. We had a great lunch and then we decided to go and find a motel room.
After the adventure of finding a room we went to the car dealerships to look at new vehicles. We stopped at the Chevy dealership to look. It was so hot and of course a salesman came out to see want he could help us with. He told us that most of their vehicles were at the mall for a sale, so we headed that way. After 4 hours of looking at vehicles and filling out paper work we drove off in a new Chevy Tahoe. Well it wasn't new, but new to us. It is a 2007 and it is in really good condition. Jason and I hadn't even discussed getting a Tahoe, but I am so glad we did. I love it! Happy anniversary to us!
Jason was also nice enough to take me to the movies to watch Ghost of Girlfriends Past! Wow, I can't believe what this world is coming to. Going to the movies is outrageous. It cost $9.75 a piece just to watch the show. My drink was $5 and Jason got candy for $4. I told the guy who rang us up that I should have just snuck in drinks and candy in the diaper bag. He told me that he wouldn't have blamed me if I would have. Anyway the movie was cute and I really enjoyed going to the movie theater. I enjoyed spending time with Jason without fighting!

Editable Creations

So this last Tuesday was Bunco night! I look forward to this day all month long. I love getting together with my group of ladies! I always laugh so hard that my cheeks are so sore when it is time to leave. I think that one of my favorite parts about bunco is the food. I love to eat, as you can probably tell! lol This month was my turn to bring the fruit. So I had seen a couple of years ago a kit to make an editable bouquet. I never bought the kit and I have kicked my self in the butt ever since. I decided to look online to find out how to make one and I found tons of cute ideas. I combined some of the ideas together to make my editable bouquet! I wish I would have had more time, but Jaylee needed to eat. So this is what it turned out like after 30 minutes! Sometimes I amaze myself. lol

Busy Bees!

I am such a slacker! For some reason I haven't been able to find time to post lately. Hmm... I am not sure if it is because our Internet doesn't always work, or if it is because I am taking care of all the responsibilities that a wife and mother have. We have been a busy little family lately. Not this last weekend, but the weekend before we went to Alamo for our sweet little nephews blessing. It was good to see everyone and the kids had a blast! We came back on a Sunday and then turned around to go to Reno on Tuesday to take Brock to the dentist. Poor little guy has the worst teeth. He got his second silver tooth and boy was he proud of it! I am for sure taking Jason every time we go to the dentist, because Brock did so much better with him there. On with the traveling. In the last couple of weeks I have also been to Elko! Good thing I love to travel!
Besides our traveling adventures we have been busy with Brock's T-ball, basque dancing, church callings, and work. Speaking of work, I had to go back to work yesterday. Oh how sad it was! I had to hold back the tears when I left mom's house. Thank goodness Jaylee is a great baby. She was so good for my mom. She is getting so big! I weighed her yesterday and she was 11 lbs. They grow so fast, I can't believe how big Brock looks to me now that we have Jaylee. I am so glad that there are only a few more weeks left of school, so I can spend the summer with my kids. I have some pictures I need to post, but that will have to wait until I have more time. So, that is a brief summary of what our family has been up to lately.
