Other things that have been going on is school is finally out, but I still am finishing up with a college class. I have to continue to take special education classes in order to keep my job. After this class I only have to more. Whooo Hooo! This past weekend was graduation! My cousin Danny graduated. I can't believe it! I am getting old! It seems just like yesterday he was born. Time just flies by way too fast. I am looking forward to the summer. Hopefully we can get our front yard done, so we can play outside! Well I will post more later, it's late and I need to get to bed!

Our 1st Anniversary
This last weekend was our 1st anniversary! I can't believe we made it! jk Jason volunteered to go with the youth on a temple trip to Reno on Saturday. I figures that since it was our anniversary that Jaylee and I would go as well. Our plans were to stay the night. So we got off to a late start on Saturday. Go figure, no matter how much I prepare for a trip in advance we always seem to run later than planned. Anyway we made it to Reno just in time for Jason to run into the temple to help with the baptisms. I wasn't going to wait around for 2 hours, so I took off to Kohl's. I found Jaylee the cutest dresses! They were having a great sale, so I couldn't resist. My brother always tells me that I am going broke saving money. He just might have a point. After finishing up with Kohl's I went and got a Keva Juice. I love their drinks, but I can't believe how expensive it is to get a smoothie these days. Oh well I enjoyed every bit of it. I then went and picked Jason back up and we went to Chili's with a family that we are friends with. We had a great lunch and then we decided to go and find a motel room.
After the adventure of finding a room we went to the car dealerships to look at new vehicles. We stopped at the Chevy dealership to look. It was so hot and of course a salesman came out to see want he could
help us with. He told us that most of their vehicles were at the mall for a sale, so we headed that way. After 4 hours of looking at vehicles and filling out paper work we drove off in a new Chevy Tahoe. Well it wasn't new, but new to us. It is a 2007 and it is in really good condition. Jason and I hadn't even discussed getting a Tahoe, but I am so glad we did. I love it! Happy anniversary to us!

Wow, I can't believe what this world is coming to. Going to the movies is outrageous. It cost $9.75 a piece just to watch the show. My drink was $5 and Jason got candy for $4. I told the guy who rang us up that I should have just snuck in drinks and candy in the diaper bag. He told me that he wouldn't have blamed me if I would have. Anyway the movie was cute and I really enjoyed going to the movie theater. I enjoyed spending time with Jason without fighting!

Editable Creations

So this last Tuesday was Bunco night! I look forward to this day all month long. I love getting together with my group of ladies! I always laugh so hard that my cheeks are so sore when it is time to leave. I think that one of my favorite parts about bunco is the food. I love to eat, as you can probably tell! lol This month was my turn to bring the fruit. So I had seen a couple of years ago a kit to make an editable bouquet. I never bought the kit and I have kicked my self in the butt ever since. I decided to look online to find out how to make one and I found tons of cute ideas. I combined some of the ideas together to make my editable bouquet! I wish I would have had more time, but Jaylee needed to eat. So this is what it turned out like after 30 minutes! Sometimes I amaze myself. lol

Busy Bees!
I am such a slacker! For some reason I haven't been able to find time to post lately. Hmm... I am not sure if it is because our Internet doesn't always work, or if it is because I am taking care of all the responsibilities that a wife and mother have. We have been a busy little family lately. Not this last weekend, but the weekend before we went to Alamo for our sweet little nephews blessing. It was good to see everyone and the kids had a blast! We came back on a Sunday and then turned around to go to Reno on Tuesday to take Brock to the dentist. Poor little guy has the worst teeth. He got his second silver tooth and boy was he proud of it! I am for sure taking Jason every time we go to the dentist, because Brock did so much better with him there. On with the traveling. In the last couple of weeks I have also been to Elko! Good thing I love to travel!
Besides our traveling adventures we have been busy with Brock's T-ball, basque dancing, church callings, and work. Speaking of work, I had to go back to work yesterday. Oh how sad it was! I had to hold back the tears when I left mom's house. Thank goodness Jaylee is a great baby. She was so good for my mom. She is getting so big! I weighed her yesterday and she was 11 lbs. They grow so fast, I can't believe how big Brock looks to me now that we have Jaylee. I am so glad that there are only a few more weeks left of school, so I can spend the summer with my kids. I have some pictures I need to post, but that will have to wait until I have more time. So, that is a brief summary of what our family has been up to lately.

I can't BELIEVE.....
...my baby girl is already 1 month old today! I am so sad that time is flying by so fast. I love staying home and spending time with Jaylee. I am going to be so sad when I have to go back to work in a couple of weeks. Jaylee is the best little baby. We are so lucky to have such a sweet spirit in our home. Jaylee already has developed a cute little personality. She has the cutest little half smile when you kiss her little check and depending on what cheek you kiss is the side that she smiles on. She also will give a full on smile. Jason is always saying that she makes lots of noises, which she does! She is the biggest grunter that I have ever met.

Jaylee has some favorite things. She loves her swing! When she is tired she loves her blanket to be by her face and she has to have her Binky while you rock her and pat her butt! Jaylee is definitely spoiled already, she sleeps right between Jason and I! She tends to always end up close to her daddy. I am not sure is she moves that way on her own, or if she has a little help! ;) Every time I put her in her bassinet she wakes up 5 minutes later. This is just not a battle I am willing to change right now, so she continues to sleep with us. She also loves the car. I love that she is such a good car traveler.
Can you find what is different between these two pictures, besides the binky?

Yes I did it! I had Jaylee's ears pierced today! Before I took her I was feeling bad, because I knew she would cry and I would feel terrible and probably cry with her. I took her to get them pierced and surprisingly it went rather well. She only cried for 2 seconds and then I got her binky into her mouth and she stopped. She is a strong little girl! I am so lucky that she is truly the best little baby. She is just so stinkin' cute!

Spring Break!
Easter 2009

Well it has been awhile since I updated my blog! So here we go! We had a great Easter! Brock had fun dying eggs with his cousin Jaione!
The next day Jason was coming home from graveyard shift and he woke Brock up to show him that the Easter bunny had came! We only went to sacrament meeting and then we came home to
finish packing, so that we could go to SLC to visit my sister Melanie. On Monday we went shopping! We went to the mall and to IKEA! Melanie wanted to take Brock to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point, so we did that as well! Brock loved the museum. They have hands on activities that the kids can do through out the museum. I was glad that he had so much fun!
On Tuesday we went to Mel's school. She is in cosmetology school right now! I started out with a euro facial! This is suppose to be so relaxing, but not for me. This kind of facial is in a private room and I was suppose to be able to lay down on this bed and get an hour facial that included massaging of the face, arms, shoulders, and neck. Well since I took my kids, this is how it turned out. Jaylee decided 10 minutes into the massage that she was hungry, so I fed her through part of it. This was rather complicated since I had to have my eyes closed for the facial. Then Brock decided that he needed to come into the room and sit at the end of the bed and play his DS. Well this wasn't too bad, until Jaylee messed her diaper and Melanie had to change her and Brock decided that he needed to go to the bathroom. It had been awhile since Brock had left to go to the bathroom and I was getting worried and then he showed up. Brock comes into the room and says, "Mom I got poop on my shirt!" I was like how in the crap did you get poop on your shirt? It was on the front of his shirt and I couldn't open my eyes to see it, because I had hot towels on my face. I still am not quite sure how Brock got it on the front of his shirt, but my sister and I just started to laugh! She was apologizing for not being able to give me the facial that it was suppose to be. I told her it wasn't her fault, I was the one who brought my kids. It still was a great facial and I plan to go back without the kids next time!
My original plans were to go home on Wednesday, but that morning Jason called and said that the weather was terrible in Battle Mountain and that it had taken him along time to get home from work that morning from the snow. So we stayed in SLC another day. That night we went to see Monsters vs Aliens in 3D. Brock was so excited! We all enjoyed the show! This was a great finish to our stay. We got Thursday and came home.
We have had great weather here the last couple of days. Yesterday Jason and I took Brock, Jaione, and Jaylee to the park and then I took the kids to the park today. We got out the stroller and we walked! I can't believe how nice it was. I hope we continue to have nice weather!
