Camping trip!

Our next big event in July was a camping trip with Jason's family!
We left Battle Mountain at 5:30pm on Friday, July 16. We went as far as Richfield, Utah. We arrived at 1:30am and found a motel to stay the night in. We got up the next morning and went to Jorgensen's Honda to look at toy haulers and prowlers. Well we didn't just LOOK, we ended up with both. I was sick to my stomach as Jason decide to spend 45,000 dollars to go camping. I am not the biggest fan of camping, so I was thinking this was ridiculous. I did get a beach cruiser bike out of the deal, but still I wasn't feeling to good. I was being a supportive wife and I did love staying in the camper. We had to wait 5 hours for the trailer and side by side to be ready. We headed over to grandma Jorgensen's for a visit while we waited. I was so annoyed and just wanted to get to the camp site. We finally got our new house on wheels and side by side and headed to Wal Mart. We got our groceries and necessities to go camping. We then got gas  up and headed towards Elk Horn.
It took us a little over 2 hours to get to the camp site. I was so relieved to have made it. Jason was nervous pulling the trailer. We camped until Wednesday. We had a fun time riding on the side by side and hanging out with the family.
I was a little bit crazy as I followed Jaylee around with a bag of wipes the whole time. I just can't handle her being so dirty and then trying to put something in her mouth with dirty hands. I think I was a little over board, but oh well! Everyone laughed every time I walked up with my bag of wipes. We had lots of yummy food and we played games. It rained every afternoon, so that kind of sucked! Jason is the favorite uncle, so we had most of the nephews and nieces staying with us. It was crazy, but the kids had fun.
The night before we were ready to go home we played cards in our trailer and I laughed so hard at Jason's dad, Gary. Ang, Jason, and I cracked up everytime it was his turn. He would say the funniest things when he would pick the wrong card. It was great entertainment.
We took of Wednesday morning at 10:00 am and made it home that night at 10:00pm. It was the longest drive home. I did make Jason stop in Salt Lake, so that I could get so projects from the Wood Connection. He was a nervous wreck driving through the traffic on the freeway! I am surprised that we all made it home alive. I am not talking about Jason's driving, but how well we don't get along on road trips. It wasn't really too bad, but I was so glad to be back at home and in my own bed!

Not enough time!

I just feel like there is never enough time in a day for me to get things done! Our family has been busy the last few weeks. We are all still trying to adjust to a schedule since school is back in session. I really like the 4 days a week, but I dread every other Friday when I have to go to school for 4 hours of collaboration. On the other hand I love the 3 day weekends. Last weekend we had 4 days for Labor day. We had planned on leaving to go camping with some friends and their family , but it was post-poned a day due to my sister Stephanie going into labor. I wanted to be there, because I have never witnesses someone giving birth. It was a great experience and the end results were the best. I now have a sweet little niece, Savannah Lynn. She was born on 9-4-09 weighing in at a whopping 5 lbs 7 oz. and she was 18 inches long. She in so tiny compared to my monster children. Jaylee looks like giant baby compared to her! She is such a good baby.

After Savannah was born we still went camping! We all had a great time. Jason gave in and bought Brock a BB gun. He did pretty good with it! On the first time he hit the can that they had set up. On the other hand I was a little worried about the whole thing and hoping that he didn't shoot any of the others kids' eyes out! This was Jaylee's first camping trip and she loved it. She especially loved looking at the fire! I was impressed on how well I did with not having a bathroom. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be! It was nice to get away from society and just relax and not worry about anything.

Brock is doing much better with school! He came home last week and asked if I knew one of the girls in is class named McKayla. I told him that I didn't know her and asked him why. He proceeded to tell me that she gave him her phone number so that she could come over and play the Wii. Then the following day he handed be an index card with a phone number on it and told me it was MaKayla's number. I was like great my kid is in the first grade and he is already getting girl's digits!

Jaylee got an ear infection this last week and hasn't been herself since! Poor little girl is usually so happy and this week she has had a hard time sleeping and eating! Other than that she is getting so big! She always has to grab onto things and she tries to talk all the time.

So that is what has been going on in the Jorgensen home lately! Hopefully I will be better about posting!
